There are here are three luxury boats besides the government ferry boats to Havelock & Niel islands namely M.V. Makruzz, M.V. Green Ocean & M.V. Costal Cruz. All these boast have a brilliant speed, fully air-conditioned with approximately 25 to 30 ton rating capacity. These ships can achieve a maximum speed of 20 to 32 nautical miles but cruised at approximately 20 to 25 nautical miles and cover the distance between Port Blair to Havelock in about 90 minutes.
